Very occasionally, I’m sent to places that are far enough away that I can’t fly back home every weekend. While this means that I get to explore the place on weekends, I do start to miss home after a while.

On one such assignment, I spent six weeks in Seoul, South Korea, and Taipei, Taiwan. One weekend afternoon, I went to explore Insadong, a charming part of town where cobblestoned streets are lined with art galleries, little tea shops, and antique shops. 

Towards the end of the street, we ducked into a little train-themed tea shop to get out of the light drizzle. My cinnamon tea, while fragrant, was too sweet but the rose tea my colleague ordered was subtly flavoured and beautifully presented.
